Jetty Replacement

Steel supports shall be installed under the existing concrete panels to give a slight reverse camber. Apart from fixing the sag this will double the load carrying capacity of the Jetty.

Boat Yard

The Boating Services committee is currently assessing the boatyard for improvements. If you have any input could you please contact the office.

OH&S

The Slip way By-Laws are currently under review, documentation and procedures are under development for the Slipway and Boatyard.

An incident on slipway during January required repair of equipment including replacement of the cable.

Issues of OH&S have arisen from the slipway incident and all members should make themselves aware of the Conditions of use of the slipway and slip way By Laws documents available in the OH&S section of the Boating Services website.

Issues associated with panel sag of the replacement jetty will be repaired as soon as a solution can be engineered. This repair will not be at any extra cost to the DSS.
